Why pay for email service?

Two reasons - first is that FaithNames is not ad-supported like most free email. Second, the capabilities that FaithNames provides to witness in each email with automatic footers require a robust and highly flexible email system. So there is a real cost to hosting each mailbox, and there are no ads to pay that cost.

When are the other domains going to be available?

We hope to launch one new domain (and it's matching witnessing website) each week until we have 10-12 domains to choose from.

Our domains include

  HeWasPierced.com   (Isaiah 53:5 & John 19:37)

  AtThatMoment.net   (Matthew 27:51)
  Once-For-All.com   (Hebrews 9:26 & 10:10)

  Christ.DiedFor.Us   (Romans 5:8)
  It-Is-Finished.org   (John 19:30)

What's your theology / beliefs?

Since the purpose of FaithNames is to provide the basics of the gospel to the lost, all our witnessing sites and footers will stay focused only on the basics:

- That each of us has sinned in our lives and that this guilt will separate us from God and His righteousness, and that Jesus lived a sinless life and purposefully died to pay the price for our ransom

- That each of us can receive this forgiveness by accepting the gift of salvation on faith and believing that Christ was the Son of God and paid the penalty instead of us, and by expressing this in prayer to God

- And that each of us needs to

- acknowledge to God that we've made mistakes

- ask for forgiveness for the wrong things we've done, and

- choose to embark on a new path that avoids those things

FaithNames isn't the right place to address complex theological questions like Calvinism vs Arminianism, Pre-Mill/Pre-Trib, etc. Those aren't good topics to hit in a footer at the bottom of an email.

For more detailed theological questions there are many great online resources such as:

How did you choose what bible translations to use?

There are several great modern bible translations available in additions to the ones we use on this site. Some of those provide very limited permissions to use their verses on websites and were therefore not used.

What does your logo represent?

Our logo was inspired by Matthew 27:51 and represents the curtain in the temple splitting from top to bottom at the moment of Christ's death.

Why the long Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy?

Two reasons:

1) The email platform is run by a large provider of advanced corporate email and our agreement with them requires it.

2) We need to ensure our email boxes and domains are used only in the spirit intended.

Does FaithNames work with Outlook, Thunderbird, etc?

Is FaithNames IMAP / POP compatible?

What are your IMAP / POP servers?

First, if none of this makes sense to you, don't worry. The standard webmail access via the website and via your browser requires no configuration or setup. Click on Log In, or go to https://mail.faithnames.net and enter your user name and password (secure).

For the technically inclined:
